The 15th Indian Business Professional Forum (IBPF) meeting was hosted by the Tampereen kaupunki – City of Tampere in the presence of the Deputy Mayor, Indian professionals and entrepreneurs, and other City officials at the historic City Hall.
Deputy Mayor Ilkka Portikivi welcomed the IBPF members and underlined the support extended by the Tampereen kaupunki – City of Tampere for Indian businesses.
Ambassador Raveesh Kumar, in his opening remarks highlighted new avenues for collaboration with Tampere, particularly in the fields of automotive technology and clean energy. He invited the Finnish companies to participate in India’s flagship programmes.
Oliver Hussey from Business Tampere detailed the extensive resources available in Tampere for Indian companies in various high-tech sectors, including artificial intelligence, automotive technology, semiconductors, mobile machinery and photonics.
The event served as a platform for networking and dialogue, paving the way for future collaborations and mutual growth.
